Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is a 2011 Ubisoft video game exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
Gameplay
Combat is top-down and turn-based. There are six unique classes, each with their own special skills: Commando, Sniper, Recon, Engineer, Gunner and Medic. There are also 4 additional classes not available to the player in the campaign: assault (basically the commando, but with grenades instead of a launcher), mortar (who has a access to a mortar, and occasionally a sidearm), anti-tank (who utilizes an anti-tank rocket launcher, usually an RPG), and officers (Who have high health, mobility, and use high-damage hand-cannons or sidearms, similar to a medic).
Classes
Shadow Wars' units are split into 10 classes. These are:
Commando
Commandos are elite versions of assault units. They use shoulder-mounted mini-mortars which come in an anti-personnel version (which functions like a mortar, with high blast radius and infantry damage, but low vehicular damage) and anti-armor (with high damage to vehicles and infantry, but smaller blast size). They come equipped with assault rifles and generally have higher health than other classes.
Gunner
Gunners are the heaviest units in-game, boasting high HP, a large MG, but very little move-and-shoot range. They come equipped with the aforementioned MG, which generally has higher damage and range than assault rifles, but does less damage at range and is less accurate. They also have two types of grenades; frags and anti-armor grenades, which function the same way as one would think.

Build, train, and equip the ultimate elite special ops team using the latest in high-tech weapons and gear.
As the commander of the Ghosts, your mission is to stop the Russian ultranationalist Yuri Treskayev from coming to power. From the hot deserts of Kazakhstan to the towns and villages of Ukraine and the frozen lands of Siberia, you must discover and disable the secret Soviet-era “Dead Hand” bases which Treskayev is using to build an army of drones to seize power. You will have access to full resources to build, train, and equip your team, using increasingly high-tech weapons and armor.
