- "So I got my certificate for the M136 and sent it home to the folks. Mom hung it up on the fridge with a magnet. Are you beginning to understand why I don't go home very often?"
- — Ibrahim's Specialist quote
Scott Ibrahim was born January 17, 1983 in Cherry Hill, NJ as part of Lebanese extraction. His father Edouard was a chemical engineer and and mother Fatima was a homemaker. His parents emigrated from Tarabulus in 1975 during Lebanese civil conflict and moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1985. Scott was an above-average student through high school. Lettered two years in track and discus. He then attended Macalaster College for two years before leaving college for financial reasons in 2002 and enlisted. He did Basic at Ft. Benning and then served in peacekeeping operations in East Timor with the 10th Infantry. Recruited into Special Forces and assigned to MacDill AFB in 2005. Assigned to the Ghosts in July, 2007.
He may have served with the Ghosts in the 2008 Russian War and the Eritrean war of the next year.
Personality and traitsEdit
Ibrahim is the newest member of the Ghosts, and as such is anxious to prove himself. He has a tendency to talk too much when he's nervous, and has been dubbed "Class Nerd" by Gordon. When relaxed, Ibrahim is something of a practical joker, though he generally shows restraint when it comes to the timing of his operations. He is tall and appears a bit gangly, but regularly posts the best time for the mile in the unit. Speaking English with some Arabic and French, Ibrahim is also an excellent guitarist, though his singing voice is best left undescribed. When he can get away with it, Ibrahim wears a Minnesota Vikings cap that he's had for over ten years. He is also fond of talking about his girlfriend back home, though none of the other Ghosts have so much as seen a picture of her. In the field, Ibrahim has been described as "a sniper with the M136," as much for his accuracy as for his uncanny ability to position himself to be able to wreak devastation.
He wears glasses for near-sightedness.
