Jungle Compound is the second mission conducted by The Ghosts during the Sri Lankan conflict.
Briefing[]
Mitchell - Alright, Ghosts. Here are the details on the Activist compound.
Primary objective is to infiltrate the compound, and destroy weapons and supplies. If the Activists are responsible for the attacks, we expect them to have some serious hardware, so stay sharp.
South of the compound is a farming village full of civvies. Radio traffic's heavy, and we think the local unit commander may have set up shop in there. Locate and neutralize him.
Our signals have picked up a major EMF hotspot inside the village. After the commander is neutralized, search the area for intel. The information you managed to extract from the recruiting facility had references to someone called "The Teacher." See if you can find any additional info.
Activists have an anti-air gun located just outside the compound. It's not a primary, but destroying it will further cripple the Activists, and may earn favor with the people.
The situation is still tense. With our carrier group just offshore, the Sri Lankan President is preparing an official statement. Make no mistake... this isn't good, Ghosts. We want as little international involvement as possible, so the less news coverage, the better.
Let's get this done before our boots have to get involved.
Intel[]
1. PAF compound[]
This is the enemy compound. Keep your eyes and ears open once you're on the ground. Civilians in the area may be able to provide valuable intel.
2. PAF Weapon shipment[]
This is the weapon shipment located somewhere in the compound. If the Activists are responsible for the attacks, we expect them to have some serious hardware, so stay sharp.
3. Eliminate the PAF commander[]
Our sources suggest the enemy commander is located near this area. Locate and eliminate the target.
4. Search for intel[]
The village is located just outside the enemy compound. Radio traffic's heavy in this area, so there's a good chance this is where we'll find our intel.
5. Destroy AA guns[]
Here's the AA gun. Our air-based drone will be able to provide support from above if you take this out.
