Staff Sergeant John B. Duval is a Rifleman specialist who may have served with The Ghosts during the Colombian Conflict of 2010.
History
John B. Duval was born in December 7, 1980 in Milton Keynes. Father (Cecil) was an accountant for a Japanese manufacturing firm, mother (Jennifer) was a schoolteacher. Two sisters, both younger.
Military career
Duval enlisted at age 17 and was assigned to 7 Armored Brigade. Served during Operation Iraq Freedom. Decorated for his actions repelling an ambush of a fresh water convoy outside of Basra. Worked on several joint US-UK operations tracking down fugitives in the south of Iraq, including one operation in which he interfaced with the Ghosts. Assigned in 2005 to advisory group in Kuwait to assist in creation of military college there. October 2, 2009 attached to Ghosts as part of renewed cooperation and cross-training efforts between US and UK militaries.
Personality
Duval is affable and friendly, he has worked hard to make himself feel like one of the Ghosts. His bad habits are lengthy fantasy novels and golf, both of which he talks about incessantly. Duval is going bald at young age and is very sensitive about his thinning hair, to the point where he wears a hat whenever he can. He swears he can speak French in addition to English, but evidence of this is lacking. His friendly nature translates to a gung-ho attitude in the field, and he's often at the front of any charge. Duval has an uncanny knack for surviving near-misses and ambushes, and several of the other Ghosts, most notably Tunney, regard his as something of a lucky charm.
